Apple Cinnamon Cranberry Sauce

Tired of scooping your holiday cranberry sauce from a can? Try our recipe that can utilize either fresh or frozen cranberries. This bold, flavorful, antioxidant rich treat is so easy to make you may never go back to the can again!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 medium cooking apple, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 cup Great Lakes Collagen Peptides
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a medium pot set over medium heat and stir to combine.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until the berries burst and the sauce thickens, about 15 minutes.
  • Serve warm or chilled.
  • Cranberry sauce can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
