Put some power in your oatmeal with Great Lakes Collagen Peptides! These warm and cozy oats are delicious with a variety of toppings and have all the fiber and collagen you need to get you through those cold winter mornings.

  1. Serves: 1-2
  2. Time: 15 min prep, refrigerate soaked oats overnight

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 4 Tablespoons Great Lakes Collagen Peptides
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon cacao powder (if chocolate flavor desired)
  • Toppings: strawberries, blueberries, chia seeds, cacoa nibs, mixed nuts…you decide!

Directions

  • Soak oats overnight with filtered water to cover oats.
  • After oats have soaked overnight, drain and rinse the oats.
  • Bring 2 cups of water to a steady boil.
  • Add overnight oats and ¼ teaspoon of salt to boiling water and stir.
  • Once the oats and water are at a full boil, reduce heat to medium or low and stir occasionally for 8 minutes.
  • Remove oats from heat and stir in the collagen and vanilla.
  • If chocolate flavoring is desired add cacao powder
  • Top with fruit (strawberry, blueberry, chia seed)
