Get festive with these baked cakey donuts with collagen! Great Lakes Wellness collagen dissolves easily and can be added to both the batter and the glaze 🐣🌼
Ingredients:
- 1 large egg
- 80 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp melted unsalted butter
- 150g all-purpose flour
- 1 scoop Great Lakes collagen
- 65g sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
For glaze and decoration:
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 1 scoop Great Lakes collagen
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- chopped chocolate mini eggs
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Mix egg, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl.
- Drizzle in the melted butter, whisking as you do, to combine everything together smoothly. Set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, sift together the flour, collagen, baking powder, and salt.
- Tip the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix through until just combined and smooth.
- Spoon batter into a donut pan that’s been brushed with melted butter or oil.
- Bake for 9 mins.
- Let it cool.
Glaze & decoration:
- Mix powdered sugar, vanilla, collagen, and milk.
- Carefully dip each cooled donut into the glaze and place on a wired rack.
