Get festive with these baked cakey donuts with collagen! Great Lakes Wellness collagen dissolves easily and can be added to both the batter and the glaze 🐣🌼

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg
  • 80 ml milk
  • tsp vanilla
  • tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • scoop Great Lakes collagen
  • 65g sugar
  • tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

 

For glaze and decoration:

  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • scoop Great Lakes collagen
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • chopped chocolate mini eggs  

 

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix egg, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl.
  3. Drizzle in the melted butter, whisking as you do, to combine everything together smoothly. Set aside.
  4. In a separate large bowl, sift together the flour, collagen, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Tip the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix through until just combined and smooth
  6. Spoon batter into a donut pan that’s been brushed with melted butter or oil.
  7. Bake for 9 mins.
  8. Let it cool.

 

Glaze & decoration:

  1. Mix powdered sugar, vanilla, collagen, and milk
  2. Carefully dip each cooled donut into the glaze and place on a wired rack.
  3. Fill donut hole with chopped chocolate and robin eggs.
