Collagen Energy Bites

  • Simply combine 1/2 cup of Great Lakes Unflavored Collagen with 1/2 cup unsweetened nut butter (I used peanut butter but almond and cashew butter also work great), 1 tbsp of pure maple syrup, 1 tbsp of jam (regular or chia seed both work) and a pinch of salt. 
  • Roll into twelve 1 tbsp balls and pop in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up. 
  • Then melt about a cup of chocolate chips and, using 2 forks, roll the balls one at a time in the chocolate until covered. 
  • Set on parchment paper and sprinkle with crumbled freeze-dried strawberries or raspberries. 
  • Allow to set and then store on the counter for 3 days or in the fridge for a week. 
  • A perfect, healthy and delicious pick-me-up that you can feel great about!
