Banana Bread

More than just a way to use overripe bananas, this time-tested recipe has been enhanced with flax seed and Collagen Hydrolysate to give you a boost without sacrificing any of the flavor. Sweet and easy-to-make banana bread with just the right amount of vanilla - so warm and comforting you may not want to share!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup ground flax seed
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup Great Lakes Gelatin Collagen Hydrolysate
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 small bananas
  • Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Mix flour, sugar, flax meal, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.
  • Warm milk to room temperature. Stir in collagen hydrolysate slowly..
  • Add milk/collagen, eggs, oil, and vanilla to the dry mixture.
  • Mash the bananas and add to the batter. Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Spray the loaf pan with non-stick spray. Pour batter into the loaf pan.
  • Bake batter for 60 min..
