Avocado Hummus

A heavenly combination of both of everyone’s favorite healthy dips. Avocadoes, lime and cilantro give it the cool, refreshing taste of a guacamole, while chickpeas, tahini and olive oil add in the Mediterranean flair of a hummus. Incredibly quick and easy to make, you’ll have to remember to try and share this crowd pleaser!

  1. Serves:6-8
  2. Time:10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cup canned chickpeas⁠
  • 2 ripe avocados, cored and peeled⁠
  • 1/2 cup Great Lakes Unflavored Collagen Peptides
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lime juice⁠
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil, plus more for serving ⁠
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin
  • Kosher salt 
  • 1 Tbsp. each chopped cilantro and red pepper flakes, for garnish⁠

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into serving dish, garnish with cilantro, and red pepper flakes.
  • Drizzle with additional olive oil if desired.
