S’more Brownies
Your favorite campfire food and dessert are combined into one with this delicious and decadent S’more Brownies is just what you’ve been dreaming of.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 8 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
  • 1/4 cup apple sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tbsp Great Lakes Pork Gelatin
  • 1 cup Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Directions

  • Lightly grease a 9" x 9" pan.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. A rubber spatula or wooden spoon works best.
  • Spread the batter in the pan.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with some moist crumbs clinging to it, but doesn't show any raw batter.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and cool the brownies before cutting and serving.
  • Store, covered, for 5 days at room temperature, or freeze for up to a month.
