You may be surprised to find that the lavender really adds something soothing and refreshing to this tart thirst quencher. Not to mention it looks lovely and takes only 5 minutes to prepare. By @reddyseteat

Ingredients
For lavender simple syrup:
- 1/4 c water
- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp dried lavender
For limeade:
- 2 c cold water
- 4 scoops Great Lakes Lemon Lime Collagen Peptides
- Lavender simple syrup
- Ice cubes
- Optional: lime slices, lavender sprigs
Directions
- To make the lavender simple syrup, add 1/4 c water, sugar, and lavender to a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves
- Simmer for 1 min
- Remove from heat and let sit at room temp for 30 min
- Strain mixture to extract syrup
- Pour 1 c cold water into each serving glass
- Stir in 2 scoops Lemon Lime Collagen into each glass
- Fill the glasses with ice
- Top with 1 tbsp cooled lavender simple syrup (adjust amount per taste preference)
- Optional: garnish with lime slice and/or lavender sprig
